This year’s Five State Convention has a dynamic agenda with much to offer you and your business. 

• Education sessions second to none. Each session will be presented by high caliber people with specific knowledge about manufactured housing and will focus on topics that you won’t want to miss.   A copy of the agenda is attached.  

• A must see trade show.  The exhibit hall will be a great place to find the latest products and services available in finance, manufacturing, service and suppliers.  All meal and social functions will take place in the exhibit hall. Five meals and three socials are included in your registration price.   

• SAFE Act – Get the latest information on the SAFE Act and find out what you MUST do.  Compliance with the SAFE Act is mandated by Federal Law.  

• Network with your peers and find out what is working for others.  This convention will be a great opportunity to network with park owners and operators, retail dealers, land home and floor plan lenders, insurance providers, installers, manufacturers and suppliers. 

• Don’t miss the 2010 Golf Tournament.  Spearfish Canyon Country Club is a beautiful 18 hole course.  Come, have fun, take part in the Calcutta and take home some winnings.

Update on Manufactured Home Dealer Initial License from MVD

• The license for a manufactured home dealer is from October 1 through September 30.
• A first time applicant must submit the following documents.

                -Application form

                -Plate order and fees form

                -Proof of Zoning

                -Inspection

                -Dealer Surety Bond

                         *   The bond must be in the amount of $50,000.00

                         *   Must indicate the license type of Manufactured Home

                         *   Must show an expiration date of September 30

                         *   Must be renewed annually

                We will not accept a bond indicating additional vehicles types as other vehicles hold  a different license term.

To renew a Manufactured Home Dealer License:

• Dealer must submit either a new bond or continuation certificate prior to September 30 each year to renew.
• If bond is not submitted the selling privileges of dealer will be suspended on October 1 each year.

As far back as 1974, the Montana Manufactured Housing and RV Association (MMH&RV) has been representing factory built housing and RV  interests in the State of Montana. We present an effective voice before the Montana Legislature, city, county and state government officials.

Members in MMH&RVA come from every facet of the industry. The Association acts for the benefit of the industry by rallying and serving all segments to deal effectively with important issues and interests.

To accomplish our mission of presenting a powerful and united front for the industry, MMH&RVA professional staff follow the directives of an elected Board of Directors. They represent both the manufactured housing and RV industry to ensure the Association works toward its members' best interest.
